SCCAP Food Pantries
All residents of Adams County must contact the SCCAP Gettysburg office before accessing county food pantries.

When:  Mon, Wed and Thurs (9:00am-3:45pm)
Who:  Residents of Adams County
How often may residents access?  Once a month.
Fresh produce?  Yes, when available.

When: 7 days a week – 11:30am-12:30pm
Who: Anyone in need.
How often can people access it?  Daily.
Fresh produce?  Yes, when available.

The Gleaning Project

Spring – Mon-Fri, 9am-3:45pm

How often may residents access?  As often as needed.
Fresh produce?  Yes, donated produce from local farmers and gardeners, whatever is available to be gleaned.

Memorial Baptist Church Food Pantry     
Where:  1096 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325
When:  3rd Saturday of every month (8:30-11:30am)
Who:  Adams County residents with financial proof (paystub or proof of income)
How often may residents access?  Once a month.
Fresh produce?  No.

New Hope Ministries
Where: Main Office: 99 West Church Street, Dillsburg, PA 17019
Where: Look up specific times for each of the 6 Central PA locations
In Adams County: 120 N. Peters Street, New Oxford, PA 17350
Mon 9am-4pm, Tues 9am-1pm, 6pm-8pm, Wed-Fri 9am-4pm
Who: People suffering from crisis or in need of community support
What: Prevention of hunger, providing utilities, transportation needs, medical needs, and assistance with rent and mortgage services.

PAL Soup Kitchen
Where:  136 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA 17331
When:  Lunch is daily (11:30am-12:30pm), and we never close on holidays.
Cold breakfast – Tuesdays, 9am-10am; Hot breakfast – Thursdays, 9am-10am
Who:  Anyone in need.
How often can people access it?  Daily.
Fresh produce?  Yes, when available.

Summer Food Service Program
Where:  Lincoln Elementary School, 98 Lefever Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325
When:  Monday-Friday, 11:45am-12:45pm, mid June through early August
Who:  FREE to all children 18 years of age and younger; adults, parents and guardians may purchase lunch for themselves for $3.60. No advance sign-up is needed.
How often can people access it?  Monday-Friday
